Every company needs goals. My goals are two fold. Firstly, as a proud resident of Luton (having been born in the L&D and having obtained my Degree in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence at Bedfordshire University) I feel the town doesn't get the recognition it deserves. I want to change that. The University has an excellent game development course, and it's my ultimate desire to see Luton become a center of excellence for computer game development - similar to Brighton. It's a lofty goal, but one I feel incredibly passionate about. I want to employ local talent and help shape an awesome narrative for the town. There are many steps involved in getting to that point and it isn't something I can do alone. If you think you could help, please feel free to get in touch and we can have a discussion. For any creative in Luton, I'd highly recommend making contact with the Luton Creative Forum - an incredibly friendly and skilled group of creatives who live here.
Secondly, as a solo developer - I know how incredibly hard it is to secure funding. Something that I would very much love to do is to set up a fund specifically targeting solo indies, giving them one less thing to worry about while developing a game. This may be a few years away, but again, it's something I'm incredibly passionate about doing.
